It seems that my whole life is being spent putting things
together. When I was really young in childhood that meant taking them apart! I
went on in my life to set aside the taking apart thing; as life seemed to
abound in things apart and broken. From model building and model railroading, to
electronic assembly. Then to less tangible pursuits like putting my mind and
life together. Through the brokenness of, muscular dystrophy, orphancy, combat,
injury, abandonment, and disenfranchisement, that putting together thing has
been a sophisticated challenge that honed my navigation and resiliency talents.
Despite the daunting edifice that those challenges present I have been successful
through persistence, vision, goal satisfaction, Olympic effort, thought, virtue,
passion, and grace.
The real joy in putting something together is letting it go afterwards
and then watching it be whatever its nature had in store for it. With that in
mind, I chose to focus my life and put together the things that made men fly. Despite
the trauma and drama that goes into launching aircraft, flight line
maintenance, and aircraft and airfield management, for me there is an everlasting
joy and sense of virtue in seeing this ascension of ability, and a power to the memory of watching and seeing an aircraft you teamed up
for launched into the sky; and evermore so impactful, the sight as it
carried people on their way across the world.
So, it’s been my calling to put the things together that
brings enablement. People, materials, methods, and machines that come together
in concert to make something worthwhile. Today, I am set with brand new credentials
to move forward in the world and gently, fastidiously, perseveringly, and purposefully
bring things together and make them shine and perform in the manner in which
they are made. I am prepared now with bigger, better, and faster, features to bring things together; and, I seek opportunity.
That's all for now... C'ya
